Physician Cardiothoracic Surgery

Based in Danville with system-wide coverage at other Geisinger sites, the Cardiothoracic Surgery role supports the full breadth of Adult Cardiothoracic procedures, including standard and minimally invasive valvular operations and multi-arterial conduits for cardiac revascularization. The surgeon will contribute to a growing Mechanical Circulatory Support and LVAD program, participate in the Cardiac Anesthesia and ICU team, and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary Structural Heart Program performing TAVR and MitraClip at all sites. The ideal candidate has broad Cardiothoracic training and an interest in minimally invasive, robotic, aortic, or mechanical circulatory support, and holds an MD or DO with Pennsylvania licensure.
