Physician Cardiothoracic Surgery

Based in Danville, the successful candidate will be part of Geisinger’s Cardiothoracic Surgery program, providing broad cardiothoracic services across adult and pediatric patients, with involvement in standard and minimally invasive valvular operations, arterial conduits for revascularization, LVAD and ECMO programs, and a multi-disciplinary structural heart program (TAVR, Mitra Clip). Experience with robotic, minimally invasive approaches and mechanical circulatory support is desired; coverage may extend to other sites in the system as needed. Must hold an MD or DO and PA medical license.
