Job Summary
Non-invasive Cardiologist sought to join UVA Community Health in northern Virginia. Provide patient care across a busy clinical environment with a focus on noninvasive cardiology, diagnostic testing, monitoring, and treatment for heart conditions. On-site capabilities include echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. Role involves supporting patient volumes in clinics and collaboration with three local acute care hospitals; call schedule is 1:5. Team includes MDs (including an invasive cardiologist as service line leader) and NP, with full support staff. Must hold or be eligible for Virginia medical licensure and be board certified/eligible; strong interpersonal skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty
- Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
- Must be energetic, motivated and collegial
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
