Job Summary
Fellowship-trained Cardiovascular Electrophysiology physician to join an established EP group in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. Provides comprehensive cardiovascular care including testing, diagnosing, and treating abnormal heart rhythms with emphasis on Watchman devices, complex ablations, and device implants/explants. Collaborative team support (LPN/CME, Device Coordinator) with a 3–5 year EP Cardiology experience expectation. Practice locations include Maryview Medical Center (Portsmouth) and Bon Secours Cardiology (Norfolk), with EP care delivered full-time Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, plus call schedule (1:6 weekends, weekday rotation; evening call 5:00 pm–7:00 am). EPIC/MyChart integrated electronic medical records and Telemedicine as appropriate; relocation reimbursement, sign-on, and productivity/quality incentives are offered.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO (U.S.-based residency)
- Fellowship trained in Cardiology-Electrophysiology
- Board Eligible or Board Certified ABMS/ABIM
- Authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years EP Cardiology
- Trained in Watchman, complex ablations, device implants/explants
- Virginia medical license or eligible for Virginia licensure
