Job Summary
Physician provides patient care at Brown University Health with duties including complying with facility standards and completing patient records; holds MD/DO with an unlimited Rhode Island license, board-certified or eligible, DEA license, and clinical privileges; day shift 8am-5pm in Newport, RI within Brown University Health’s multi-hospital system; works within a not-for-profit health system and affiliated hospitals; emphasis on compassionate, accountable and respectful care aligned with organizational values and success factors; responsibilities and environment described by the role’s location and hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved medical (allopathic or osteopathic), dental or podiatric school
- MD/DO with a valid unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of Rhode Island
- Board certified or Board eligible as required
- Federal Narcotics DEA license required as applicable
- Demonstrated clinical competence and physical and mental status sufficient to demonstrate that he/she is able to provide quality care to patients
- Clinical privileges in the physician’s specialty required for hospital owned and operated practice
