PHYSICIAN BMH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH-Inpatient

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult and geriatric inpatients while managing psychiatric emergencies and developing individualized treatment plans. Provide medication management and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and therapy to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Offer psychiatric consultation services for patients on medical and surgical floors, document care in the electronic medical record, and participate in discharge planning. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards while following a 7-on/7-off schedule to maintain continuity of inpatient and consultation services during scheduled work weeks.
