Job Summary
The Physician role at Baptist Health encompasses daily management and treatment of patients at a Clinic/Practice, providing clinical services including diagnosis and referral, and establishing office policies necessary for effective operation. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, utilizing the EPIC computer system for charting, and maintaining patient communication. Participation in quality assurance initiatives and community events is also expected. Applicants must possess a current medical license in Kentucky, DEA registration, liability insurance eligibility, and relevant board certification or eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid & unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Current valid & unrestricted DEA registration number
- Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability insurance
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in appropriate specialty
- BCLS required
Additional Requirements
- Compliance with Baptist Health’s infectious disease and vaccination policies including mandatory vaccination policies for influenza and COVID unless reasonable accommodations are needed under applicable law
- Post offer, pre-employment drug testing required
