Job Summary
The Physician will deliver clinical primary care, specialty care, urgent care, or occupational medicine services. Responsibilities include patient management, clinical services such as diagnosis and treatment, participating in office policy establishment, making referrals to specialists, and utilizing computer systems for charting. The Physician will also assist with quality assurance plans and maintain contact with patients and pharmacies. Requires a valid medical license, DEA registration, and board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid & unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Current valid & unrestricted DEA registration number
- Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability insurance
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in appropriate specialty
- BCLS required
Additional Requirements
- Employees will be expected to comply with Baptist Health’s infectious disease and vaccination policies
