Job Summary
Physician Associate collaborates with the care team under a supervising physician to perform history taking, physical examinations, develop and implement treatment plans, and prescribe medications within the delegated scope. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting routine diagnostics, performing procedures (immunizations, suturing, wound care, simple fracture follow-up), providing patient education, and participating in daily huddles/team meetings to improve patient outcomes. Requires graduation from an accredited PA program and state licensure with national certification eligibility, and BLS. The role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant
- BLS certification
- Possession of or eligibility for national certification for the Physician Assistant
- prescriptive authority within delegation from supervising physician
