Job Summary
Physician leadership role in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital (Wheaton, IL) with collaboration to inpatient rehab services at Woodstock Hospital. Responsibilities include leadership of the consultant provider team, management of referral relationships and quality improvement, overseeing on-site and virtual patient consultations to determine rehab level of care, ensuring smooth discharge planning, engaging with referring physicians and insurance peers, participating in Utilization Management, Quality, and Safety, and contributing to policy/compliance and program development. Opportunities to work with residents, EPIC/telehealth capabilities, inpatient and outpatient rehab programs, prosthetics/orthotics clinic on-site, and a broad scope of PM&R responsibilities. Requires MD/DO, PM&R residency, board certification or eligibility, and an active medical license; leadership experience and 7+ years post-residency preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- ACGME-accredited PM&R residency completion
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in PM&R (ABPMR)
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
