Job Summary
Physician Assistant at Zufall Health Center in Morristown, NJ under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer or designee, providing direct clinical care to patients in accordance with the Physician Assistant Licensing Act. Responsibilities include patient assessments (history, physical exams), diagnostic/therapeutic evaluations, injections and immunizations, suturing and wound management, documentation in EMR, collaboration with supervising physician, patient education and counseling, developing patient management plans, infection control, and participation in night/weekend call coverage. Involve assisting patients with community resources, referrals, and services, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and contributing to clinical performance improvement and ongoing education. Requires a Masters in PA Studies, NCCPA certification, NJ PA license, DEA and CDS registrations, and BLS; bilingual English/Spanish strongly valued. The role supports a broad range of ambulatory community health services and requires flexibility to meet operational needs across the center.” ,
Required Qualifications
- Education, Training and Experience
- Possession of a current, valid PA license from the State of New Jersey.
- Current certification a Physician Assistant.
- Possession of a valid DEA and CDS registration.
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum of one-year experience in a community health setting preferred.
- Bicultural and bilingual experience valued
