Job Summary
Physician Assistant for Walk-In Care at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. 32-hour per week role providing care to patients of all ages with minor medical issues in a fast-paced, patient-centered team setting; collaborate with Walk-In Care and Primary Care Providers; embedded in the Primary Care office on the Waldo campus. Includes competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME expense reimbursement. Benefits include PTO, CME time, retirement options, medical/dental/vision/life/disability coverage. Requires Bachelor's degree and PA program, Maine PA license, DEA; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years PA experience required; emergency/urgent care or primary care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program
- Maine PA License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as a PA is required
