Job Summary
Physician Assistant needed for Walk In Care team at Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. 32-hour week position caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries. Work collaboratively with Walk in care team members and Primary Care Providers; embedded in the Primary Care office on the Waldo campus. Requires Bachelor’s degree, completion of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program, Maine PA license and DEA; ACLS and PALS preferred. Prior emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in or primary care experience is preferred. CME and on-site benefits included; sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program
- Maine PA License and DEA
- 2 years' experience as a PA is required
