Job Summary
Physician Assistant for Walk-In Care at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME (32 hours/week). Works in a fast-paced, patient-centered Walk-In Care team embedded in the Primary Care office, caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues. Collaborates with Walk-In Care team members and Primary Care Providers. Competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME reimbursement. Requires Bachelor’s degree and PA program, Maine PA license and DEA; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years PA experience required; relocation provided; benefits include PTO, CME time, retirement options, medical/dental/vision/life/disability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program
- Maine PA License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as a PA is required
