PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT V-VASCULAR SURGERY

Evaluate, examine, and treat patients in collaboration with supervising physicians across in-patient and out-patient settings, including prepping and draping for surgery, assisting in procedures, and performing skin closures. Manage physical and psychological problems by identifying findings, implementing treatment plans, and prescribing medications per state guidelines. Conduct pre- and post-operative care, order diagnostics, develop discharge plans, and provide patient education on medications and pain management. Document assessments, history, and findings systematically while maintaining infection control and patient safety protocols. Participate in performance improvement activities, code teams, and mentorship roles. Monday through Friday with 1:4 weekends; availability for call from home required.
