Job Summary
Conduct urgent care procedures for patients ranging from newborns to geriatric individuals in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Manage shared call rotations with medical assistants, front office staff, and network specialists to support daily operations. Deliver care across seven days a week, including holidays, from 8am to 8pm, while utilizing telehealth, sports medicine, and joint primary care models. Leverage prescriptive authority and National Certification to thrive in a patient-centric setting within Banner Health's integrated health system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of urgent care or procedures experience
- Family Nurse Practitioner designation with active AZ license
- DEA with prescriptive authority
- National Certification
- BLS
- Recent experience with all ages (newborn to geriatric)
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures
- Ability and desire to thrive in a patient-centric environment
- Must be available for shared call one shift a month
- Clinic Hours: Open 7 days a week, including holidays | 8am to 8pm
