Job Summary

Conduct clinic and operating room services under physician direction, including patient rooming, pre-surgery planning, instrument checks, and wound closure. Perform therapeutic procedures such as splinting, casting, suturing, and dressing changes while managing patient data and medical histories. Implement care plans, record progress, and handle consultations for cast adjustments or brace applications. Prescribe medications and round as required by the supervising physician. Occasionally participate in community outreach events. Full-time role with variable pay based on experience; comprehensive benefits including 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and fitness subsidies available for eligible schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license
  • DEA registration
  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines
  • Ability to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents
  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer)
  • Ability to be available for weekend shifts
  • Ability to work in the Edina, Eden Prairie, and Eagan locations
