Job Summary
Family Medicine and Pediatrics Physician Assistant position at UNC Family Medicine and Pediatrics at Holly Springs. Key duties include providing comprehensive clinical care across pediatrics and family medicine, management of chronic conditions, immunizations, in-office procedures, nutrition counseling, preventive care, adolescent and women's health, and interdisciplinary collaboration with a care team. Candidates should be licensed as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina, board-certified as a PA, hold DEA registration, and demonstrate clinical competency, leadership, and strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team. This is a full-time daytime role with standard hours and a 40-hour work week.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant if required by the Department
- DEA registration
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (PA) program
- 2+ years of experience (as stated in requirements) or related clinical experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and analytic skills
- Documentation in medical records for accurate billing
