Job Summary
Physician Assistant needed for Gastroenterology practice at Digestive Health Institute in East Lansing, MI, with rotating coverage at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital. Primary duties include diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic GI conditions; performing and coordinating endoscopic procedures and related diagnostics (ultrasounds, motility studies); liver disease management and reflux care; delivering patient-centered care within a collaborative team; providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment; building relationships with patients and adhering to ethical standards. On-site role based in East Lansing with hospital coverage; opportunities to work independently and with physicians to support GI care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in physician assistant studies
- Certification as an Adult Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan
- Three to five years’ experience as a Physician Assistant desired, preferably in GI care
- Excellent organizational, analytical and clinical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
