Job Summary
Physician Assistant for Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center: full-time PA to manage complex trauma cases, perform advanced procedures, drive coordinated care, and mentor staff within a fast-paced trauma service. Collaborates with board-certified trauma surgeons; responsibilities include assessments, diagnostic interpretation, and contributing to treatment plans across trauma, SICU, and PICU. Requires NJ PA license, NCCPA, and BLS; ACLS preferred. Compensation highlighted with base salary guidance and comprehensive benefits; schedule includes rotating days and nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Physician Assistant experience in a Trauma or Emergency Medicine setting is required.
- Licensure : Current, unrestricted NJ Physician Assistant License.
- Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and BLS certification required. ACLS is preferred.
