Physician Assistant - Sports Medicine Specialty

Job Summary
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic sports and activity-related injuries, focusing on shoulders, elbows, and knees. Run concurrent and independent clinics while referring for diagnostic treatments, ordering and reviewing lab results, and evaluating X-Ray, CT scan, and MRI results. Provide clear, concise, and accurate information in the EMR and assist in surgery. Work directly with a board-certified orthopedic sports surgeon across Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur office locations on a rotational basis. This office and surgical-based position features minimal call duties and weekend obligations.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Must have a current NCCPA certification
- Licensed to practice in Alabama
- Must be available for a typical five-day work week
- Must be available for rotational basis in Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur office locations
- Minimal call duties
- Minimal weekend obligations
