Job Summary
Physician Assistant — Weekend Warrior role in Nassau County, NY within GoHealth Urgent Care in partnership with Northwell Health. 24 hours per week with full-time pay (32 hours) and comprehensive benefits. Travel to all centers within the Nassau County region and scheduling flexibility to include Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday shifts with 8-, 12-, or 16-hour options. Provide care to adult and pediatric patients, require prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience, and perform minor procedures with EKG and X-ray interpretation. Includes sign-on bonus of $15,000 and opportunities for professional mentoring and support within a large urgent care network.
Required Qualifications
- PA: 2 or more yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
- Reading EKGs and X-rays
