Job Summary
Conduct independent speculum exams, full GYN evaluations, and routine well-woman exams including Pap smears, contraceptive counseling, and STD testing. Perform history-taking and physicals while making clinical decisions unsupervised, with Dr. Mamdani handling required procedures. Document assessments, diagnoses, and care plans in the chart and collaborate with physician supervisors to coordinate referrals. Deliver culturally sensitive care to a predominantly Spanish-speaking population in a busy gynecology practice serving the Latino community in Washington Heights. Requires NP or PA-C license in New York State, minimum two years of GYN experience, and full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- NP (WHNP, FNP) or PA‐C license in New York State and current registration
- Minimum 2 years of GYN experience
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Confident in performing speculum exams, Pap smears, pelvic exams independently
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced practice
- BLS certification
