Job Summary
Physician Assistant in Rheumatology responsible for examining, assessing, planning and implementing patient care under the supervision of a Rheumatologist. Duties include taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering labs, developing and implementing treatment plans, performing diagnostic and treatment procedures, documenting findings, and providing patient education and counseling to support specialty rheumatology care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with Wisconsin licensure
- Experience in rheumatology
- Ability to examine, assess, plan, implement patient care in collaboration with a Rheumatologist
- Ability to order laboratory tests and develop treatment plans
- Good patient education and counseling skills
