Job Summary
Conduct initial pre-procedure patient assessments, draft H&P's, and write pre-procedure orders while acting as the primary contact for referring providers and hospital nurses. Assist radiologists with image-guided procedures including vascular access, barrow biopsies, and line/tube management. Perform post-procedure rounding, coordinate patient discharge, and manage outpatient follow-up visits and phone calls. Act as the liaison between doctors and patients, serving as the face of the practice. Draft H&P and follow-up notes for outpatient consults under supervision. Maintain ACLS certification and appropriate state licensure. This role supports neurointerventional radiologists within Banner - University Medicine's academic medical centers in Phoenix and Tucson.
