Job Summary
Provide on-site medical care at the Onondaga County Justice Center in Syracuse, NY as a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The role combines elements of primary, urgent, emergency, and addiction medicine to serve a diverse correctional patient population. Competitive compensation with a 40-hour work week (Mon–Fri), a $115k-$150k annual salary range, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement (401k with match), malpractice insurance, PTO, floating holidays, and licensure reimbursement. Requires graduation from an accredited NP/PA program, NY licensure, board certification, DEA, BLS, and a valid NY driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Board Certified
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Maintain current DEA license
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification
- Maintain current Driver’s License
