Physician Assistant - Primary Care

Physician Assistant (PA) to join Centre for Family Medicine in Kitchener, Ontario for a 0.8–1.0 FTE position with flexible negotiation. Responsibilities include direct patient care, follow-up of investigations, virtual care, care coordination, documentation, ordering/ interpreting diagnostic investigations, developing care plans with supervising physician, health promotion, coordinating with specialists, and supporting education of learners. Work within an interdisciplinary team including physicians, NPs, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other allied health professionals. Flexible FTE (0.6–0.8) open to negotiation; in-person at a clinic in Kitchener, Ontario. Requirements: accredited PA program, PACCC, CAPA/CAPA regulatory eligibility, CPSO PA stream eligibility, strong clinical and communication skills, ability to work both independently and in team, dedication to patient-centered care. Experience with EMR, documentation, and care coordination; healthcare education opportunities for learners/more junior staff.
