Job Summary
Physician Assistant in Post Acute Care providing comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnoses, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as a resource and consultant, promoting wellness and preventing illness across individuals, families, and communities. Role emphasizes autonomy in clinical decision-making, ensuring high-quality patient experience and safety outcomes. Requires IL PA licensure, DEA and Illinois Controlled Substances licenses, Master's degree, BLS/CPR certification, and a minimum of three years PA experience with experience in advanced directives and goals of care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with potential weekend hours in the future; no evenings or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant in IL
- Federal DEA license
- Illinois Controlled Substances License
- Master's degree in specialty area
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of three years Physician Assistant experience
- Experience with advanced directives and goals of care
