Job Summary
Diagnose and manage vascular disease patients from check-in to discharge, performing procedures and administering medications. Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe or dispense medications. Act as first assist in OBL-based surgeries and interventions while providing education to families and community members. Maintain accurate patient records, ensure proper HIPAA-compliant documentation, and oversee the Quality Assurance program and IAC accreditation policies. Assist with marketing efforts, community outreach, networking, and social media. Complete ad hoc projects as needed and provide clinical guidance to teams.
Required Qualifications
- Registered as a Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
- Passed certification examination of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc. (NCCPA)
- Ability to work effectively as a team member developing work relationships with everyone in the office
- High standard of moral and ethical behavior
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Physician Assistant in a vascular setting preferred
- 1+ year of out-patient care preferred
