Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) to support MH Podiatry in Rockport and Belfast, Maine, combining clinical care with surgical first-assist responsibilities in a high-volume podiatry setting; duties include first assist in foot/ankle surgeries, evaluating and managing podiatry patients, performing office-based podiatric procedures, supporting post-operative care, and collaborating with podiatrists and care teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes; opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and skill development within a collaborative podiatry team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
