Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) supports podiatry surgeons in a blended clinical and surgical first-assist role; duties include first assisting in foot/ankle procedures, evaluating and managing podiatry patients, performing office-based procedures (wound care, injections, post-op follow-ups), coordinating post-operative care, and collaborating with podiatrists and care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Practices in MH Podiatry Rockport and Belfast with a predictable clinic and surgical schedule, professional growth opportunities, and Maine coastal living.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
