Physician Assistant – Podiatry

Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) in the MH Podiatry program supports podiatric surgeons in a blended clinical and surgical first-assist role. Responsibilities include first-assist in the operating room for foot and ankle procedures, independent evaluation and management of podiatry patients, office-based podiatric procedures (wound care, injections, post-operative follow-ups), postoperative care coordination, collaboration with the podiatry team to ensure patient outcomes, participation in quality/safety initiatives, and contributing to overall care continuum in a high-volume surgical outpatient setting. Requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, excellent communication, and licensure as a PA or NP in Maine (or eligibility).
