Physician Assistant – Podiatry role supporting MH Podiatry Rockport/Belfast in Maine with a blended clinical and surgical first-assist focus. Key duties include first-assist in foot and ankle procedures, independent evaluation and management of podiatry patients, office-based podiatric procedures (wound care, injections, follow-ups), postoperative care coordination, and collaboration with podiatrists and care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes a team-based approach, quality/safety initiatives, and a predictable schedule with clinic and surgical time. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Maine
- Experience or strong interest in surgical first assist and podiatric medicine
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, surgery, or wound care preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to team-based care
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
