Job Summary
Pediatric Cardiac Services PA delivers direct patient care across ambulatory clinics, cardiac catheterization lab, and inpatient settings, including diagnosing illness, developing and managing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. APPs may see patients independently or as part of the health care team; role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other team members, with responsibilities spanning history taking, physical examinations, ordering/performing/interpretating diagnostic studies, implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and contributing to quality improvement and education/research efforts. Requires PA program graduation, WA licensure, PA certification, DEA registration, and BLS/AHA certification. Compensation range is $165,600.00 - $173,400.00 USD with comprehensive benefits; schedule is full-time days with flexible/varied pay scales influenced by experience and certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program
- Active, unencumbered physician assistant licensure in the State of Washington
- Current certification as a physician assistant
- Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
