Job Summary
Assist in OR procedures, perform daily hospital rounds, conduct office visits, and provide pre- and post-operative care for colorectal and general surgery patients. Manage prescriptions, refills, and patient questions while completing documentation and patient-requested forms. Collaborate with four board-certified surgeons and one APP across rotating OR, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Schedule includes Monday–Friday variable hours, with OR days starting at 7:30 AM and occasional late nights in Howard Beach. Starting salary is $94.66/Hr. New graduates are welcome to apply to join a high-volume surgical team led by Dr. Marc Sher and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited PA program
- NYS PA license and board certification
- BLS & ACLS required
- DEA certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
