Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) for Sports Medicine and Foot and Ankle at ValleyOrtho. The role splits time roughly 50/50 between Sports Medicine and Podiatry, collaborating with Orthopedic and Podiatric surgeons in two high-volume practices. Primarily outpatient clinic-focused with limited Operating Room involvement (assist in OR about once a month). Responsibilities include evaluating and managing musculoskeletal conditions, providing pre-operative education, coordinating postoperative follow-up, and performing in-office procedures within scope. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with strong clinical judgment and adaptability, supporting clinic flow, documentation in Epic, care standardization, and coordination with therapy, imaging, and ancillary services. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Colorado PA license, PA-C certification (NCCPA), unrestricted DEA license, BLS and ACLS, and preferred First Assist experience. The position offers a salary range of $109,366.40 to $164,049.60 annually, with comprehensive benefits and PSLF eligibility. Open on-site at Glenwood Springs, CO, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Colorado Physician Assistant (PA) license
- PA-C certification issued by NCCPA
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications through the American Heart Association
- First Assist Experience is preferred
