Job Summary
Provide outpatient acute medical care for students and school staff by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common illnesses and injuries. Perform minor office procedures including suturing while practicing independently with Medical Director oversight. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with school personnel and healthcare providers to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. This full-time, Monday-Friday role offers a predictable schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with no evenings, weekends, or call responsibilities. You will work in an independent outpatient practice serving elementary, middle, and high school students in Floyd, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Virginia Physician Assistant License
- Active DEA Registration
- Ability to Practice Independently
- Experience Treating Pediatric and Adolescent Patients
- Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing
- Strong Clinical Assessment Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
