Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic pain conditions while collaborating closely with physicians in an outpatient setting. Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and formulate treatment plans. Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies, then prescribe medications within state regulations. Perform procedures including injections, wound care, suturing, immunizations, and infection management. Educate patients on treatment options and monitor outcomes to modify plans as needed. Assist with complex cases and maintain accurate documentation. Work Monday through Friday with early Friday afternoons in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA)
- Current Iowa Physician Assistant license
- Current unrestricted DEA license
- BCLS certification
- Ability to maintain continuing education and certification requirements
- Strong computer and documentation skills

- ACLS certification
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, family medicine, or related specialty
