Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations; diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams; develop and implement personalized care plans for patients; prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations; educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options; document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records; stay current with medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA Certification (PANCE passed)
- Vermont PA license (or eligibility)
- Proven experience as a PA in a primary care setting preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare software
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
