Job Summary
Examine patients, perform routine physicals, and administer required tests. Order diagnostic procedures and manage infections, injections, and wound care. Maintain patient medical records using NextGen and develop individualized management plans through effective communication. Participate in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director or Quality Assurance Director. This role supports the primary care team at Marin Community Clinics, an FQHC serving 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County. The position offers a signing bonus, relocation assistance, and an AI scribe tool to streamline documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Years of hands on primary care clinical experience
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Valid and unrestricted California License issued by the Physician Assistant Board
- Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs
- Current BLS certification
- Computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- experience excludes clinical rotations/clerkships
- completed a residency hands-on training program of 12 or more month's duration
- One year of experience preferred
- Experience with NextGen EMR software
- Proficiency in medical Spanish
- Prior experience in Community Health
- Ability to work in fast paced health clinic environment
- Ability and willingness to work independently and in team environment
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sensitive to the needs and situations of a multi-cultural population from a variety of income levels
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
