Job Summary

As an Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse in the GI Clinic, you will manage patients with GI dysfunction in various settings, collaborate with physicians to create treatment plans, perform diagnostic assessments and interventions, and provide patient and family education. Required qualifications include a Master's degree in nursing, an active RN license in Missouri, and Nurse Practitioner certification. Ideal candidates will have clinical expertise in GI and 3–5 years of nursing experience, along with strong leadership skills.

Required Qualifications

  • MSN from an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license in Missouri
  • Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC, AANP, etc.)
  • Missouri certification for Advanced Practice (if required)
  • Current Collaborative Practice Agreement
  • BCLS certification
  • Clinical expertise in GI or a strong interest in developing it
  • 3–5 years of hands-on nursing experience
  • Leadership chops and the ability to thrive in a team

Desired Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of gastroenterology-specific experience
  • Advanced education in GI diseases, treatments, and patient management
  • Experience in endoscopy, colonoscopy, or other GI procedures
