Job Summary
Family Practice Physician Assistant position in Bethel Census Area, AK. Full-time 40-hour week, 2-3 year contract. Requires completion of an approved PA or NP training program and Alaska license and DEA; must be current on CME requirements; experience reading radiographs and dispensing medication; ability to supervise NP/PA students and oversee community Health Aide clinical practice; sites may include Bethel Census Area towns such as Toksook Bay, Hooper Bay, Aniak, Emmonak, and St. Marys, with on-site responsibilities. Position supports credentialing and onboarding with travel and housing assistance through Opportunity Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program
- Alaska License
- DEA license
- Be current on CME requirements
- Two years minimum suggested experience
- Experience reading radiographs and dispensing medication
- Computer skills to access electronic medical records
- Ability to supervise and mentor NP/PA students and oversee community Health Aide clinical practice
