Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA-C) for Neurosurgery at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. The role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care with exposure to spine, cranial, and peripheral nerve cases. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient; 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call every 5 weeks (call only, no routine rounding). First assist in a variety of neurosurgical procedures; participate in daily rounding across two hospital locations; work with a team of 4 neurosurgeons and 5 APPs; opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant
- Active PA license in Illinois
- Active PA national board certification (NCCPA)
- Active DEA registration prior to hire
- Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire (if Illinois practice)
- Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice
