Physician Assistant - PA-C - Behavioral Health

Lead and direct care for child and adolescent psychiatric patients through initial assessments, crisis interventions, family interventions, and discharge planning covering medical, psychological, and social aspects. Develop individualized mental health treatment plans, provide psychotropic medication treatment, and manage medication flow sheets, reconciliation, and education. Conduct focused physical examinations, order laboratory tests, and communicate with parents, guardians, social services, and primary care physicians. Participate in care coordination with licensed therapists and behavioral health coordinators while reviewing crisis clinical team documents and utilizing evidence-based practices. Assist in developing policies and procedures, participate in committees as assigned, and collaborate with outside psychiatric providers during crisis and inpatient services.
