Job Summary
Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to designated patient populations in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings. Perform complete histories and physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and develop plans of care based on findings. Order medications and write prescriptions per organizational policies. Consistently document high-quality admission, progress, procedure, operative, and discharge notes. Perform appropriate bedside procedures. Requires a Master's degree and two years of PA experience. Onsite work at 32 Fruit Street. Annual salary range $173,867.20.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree Physician Assistant
- Physician Assistant [State License]
- 2 years of experience as a PA
- Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
