Physician Assistant Orthopedics

Physician Assistant in Orthopedics to support a busy orthopedic surgeon at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA. Full-time role with autonomy to run own clinic; duties include assisting in the surgical suite (first assist, wound closure, internal devices), pre- and post-operative care in clinics, comprehensive histories and physicals, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, and determining need for consultation. Orders and performs lab/diagnostic studies (routine labs, radiology, CT, MRI, bone scans), conducts hospital rounds, writes orders, and covers the ED for the surgeon as needed. Weekend rounding on an infrequent / as-needed basis with no night call. Schedule typically Monday–Friday including OR work and one administrative day per week. Compensation range $141,240–$194,683 per year DOE, plus additional wRVU productivity; location: Lakewood, WA (US).
