Physician Assistant Orthopedics

Physician Assistant needed for a full-time orthopedic opportunity at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA. The provider will join a busy orthopedic surgeon, enjoy autonomy, and run their own clinic. Responsibilities include assisting in the surgical suite as first assist, handling deep and superficial wound closures, and applying internal devices; conducting pre-operative and post-operative care in clinics; performing comprehensive histories and physical examinations; interpreting labs and diagnostic tests; formulating treatment plans; exercising judgment on referrals and consultations; ordering and performing labs and imaging (CT/MRI/bone scans); conducting hospital rounds, writing orders, and seeing patients in the ED when needed; weekend rounds on an infrequent/as-needed basis; a Monday–Friday schedule including an OR component and one administrative day per week. Compensation range is $141,240–$194,683 per year DOE, plus additional wRVU productivity.
