Job Summary
Physician Assistant orthopedic opportunity at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (Alexandria, VA) with a busy orthopedic surgeon. Autonomy to run own clinic; duties include first assist in surgery, wound closure, order/interpret labs and imaging (CT, MRI, bone scans), pre/post-operative care, histories and physicals, treatment planning, and ED coverage with occasional weekend rounds and no night call. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with one administrative day; compensation $141,240–$194,683 DOE plus wRVU productivity. Requires PA/ARNP experience, WA license, board certification, DEA/NPI/prescriptive authority, and current BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an ARNP or Physician Assistant preferred
- Surgical experience as an ARNP or Physician Assistant is also preferred
- Washington State license in good standing
- Board certified
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
