Physician Assistant Orthopedics

Physician Assistant sought for a full-time orthopedic role at St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA. The provider will join a busy orthopedic team, run their own clinic with substantial autonomy, and serve alongside a multidisciplinary group. Responsibilities include assisting in the surgical suite as first assistant, wound closure, application of internal devices, pre-operative and post-operative clinic care, comprehensive histories and physical examinations, interpretation of labs and imaging (CT, MRI, bone scans), formulating treatment plans, determining when to consult or refer, ordering and reviewing labs and diagnostic studies, hospital rounds, and occasional ED coverage. Weekly schedule is Monday–Friday with OR duties, one administrative day per week, and infrequent weekend rounds. Compensation ranges from $141,240 to $194,683 per year DOE, plus additional wRVU productivity. Requirements include Washington state license in good standing, board certification, DEA/NPI/prescriptive authority, and current BLS certification.
