Physician Assistant- Orthopedics- Carbon/Miners

Conduct medical evaluations, administer diagnostic tests, and interpret radiologic and laboratory results for patients in a 60/40 split between office and operating room settings. Assist surgeons in intra-operative care, including first or second surgical assist, drain placement, wound closure, and sterile dressing application. Perform daily post-operative evaluations and rounding, determine therapeutic regimens, and manage pre- and post-operative surgical patients. Coordinate patient care with referring physicians, complete electronic medical record documentation, and participate in teaching multidisciplinary students and residents. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical management guidelines.
